Step Out in Solidarity: March for Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week

Today our Leeds centre stepped out in solidarity to raise awareness about sexual abuse and sexual violence!

Sexual abuse and sexual violence awareness week is an annual initiative (taking place from 6th to 12th February this year), dedicated to encouraging survivors of sexual abuse to speak out, and for everyone to come together to make noise about the reality of sexual violence and simply say that #ItsNotOk.

To show our support of this week, we marched around the city centre with blue ribbons, leaflets and banners to continue the conversation about the dangers of sexual abuse.

The Hazelhurst Centre kindly gifted us wristbands, pens, leaflets and stickers to spread the word about their sexual abuse support. If you have experienced sexual abuse, the Hazelhurst Centre can support you. For more information: visit their website at http://www.hazelhurstcentre.org/ or call them on 0330 223 3617

Thank you to everyone who joined us!
